A citizens' initiative
The platform's objective was to spread the word with key audiences, making pressure on the 2017 Mexican Presidential candidates and other politicians to sign and adopt the National Pact for Early Childhood (Pacto por la primera Infancia).
Context
What
Many of Mexico's most complex and costly public problems could be significantly reduced if the full development of early Childhood was made a priority.
Who
Pacto por la primera Infancia is the only citizen initiative that commits all actors of society to prioritize the rights of early childhood and, thus, solve from the root the problems of social impact that impede the Mexico's growth.
How
As part of that effort, we were hired to develop the CMS (Drupal) web platform.
One of the main challenges was to adapt the project ideas into technically viable web implementations within a short period of time.
Commitment candidate list
This is one of the most important section of the site, a list of politicians committed to sign and implement the political policies by Pacto por la Primera Infancia. Each time a politician signs the pact and uploads the scanned signature through the form provided by the site, the admin is notified by email with the archive, then, the admin uploads the scanned signature and the politician's status automatically changes from “Not committed” to “Committed”.
